Originally on the site was a really old plasterboard bach; then this popped up. It is still a holiday home (according to my new mate, the electrician!)
The design is very typical for our area at the moment - big sliding doors on the ground floor with an L shaped outdoor living area that it opens to.
I really like how it fits with the houses on either side (in that it doesn't really?) - that are both that 80s dark brown textured brick, especially when approaching from the south.
Obviously a one man band architect (going by the sign) - I am impressed and, perhaps undeservedly, surprised at what has been produced.
What do you think of the orange? It is the only colour inside - and remains on that southern wall.
From some angles it really is just a box, from others it is more interesting.
